The month of September means that fresh apples at our local farms in Connecticut are waiting to be picked and enjoyed! From Macintosh to Pink Lady, Granny Smith, Gala, Red Delicious, Fuji, and Honeycrisp, apple picking is a great way to celebrate this new month and enjoy a locally-sourced, healthy fruit. In Connecticut, we are lucky to have so many wonderful local farms that give us the “pick-your-own” experience directly from the orchards themselves, so we hope you can make your way to some of the wonderful farms in the area.
