From Macintosh to Pink Lady, Granny Smith, Gala, Red Delicious, Fuji, and Honeycrisp, apple picking is a great way to celebrate this new month and enjoy a locally-sourced, healthy fruit. In Connecticut, we are lucky to have so many wonderful local farms that give us the “pick-your-own” experience directly from the orchards themselves, so we hope you can make your way to some of the wonderful farms in the area.
