Free virtual programs are being offered by Goldstone Caregiver Center
As a caregiver, you have likely struggled physically, emotionally or spiritually at some point during your journey. The Goldstone Caregiver Center, located in Danbury Hospital’s Buck Pavilion, provides support to caregivers who are caring for a family member or friend, regardless of location. You do not have to be caring for someone who has been a patient with Nuvance Health to access our support, programs, and resources.
Members of the Goldstone Caregiver Center clinical team provide professional counseling and other supportive services including support groups, educational programs, and end-of-life support. See their latest virtual offerings below.
April Support Groups And Programs:
- “Caregiving Tips and Resources from the Parkinson’s Foundation” Presentation by the Parkinson’s Foundation: April 12th from 12:00-1:00pm
- Daytime Caregiver Support Group: April 14th & 28th from 10:00-11:30am
- Evening Caregiver Support Group: April 19th from 6:00-7:30pm
- “Mind-Body Workshops: Guided Imagery” Presented by Jennifer Salkin, MA, LMAFT, Goldstone Caregiver Center Mental Health Professional: April 21st from 12:00-1:00pm
