Are you looking to make connections and learn about healthy living?
AARP’s Zero Isolation Program is a free virtual program offered by AARP Connecticut and AARP Rhode Island. This six-week program pairs older adults with university students from Connecticut and Rhode Island and teaches them how to build relationship skills, expand their social networks, and learn about each other through group discussions and active listening strategies.
The program is led by trained AARP facilitators, and it provides an opportunity for older adults and young adults to meet virtually, and learn more about how social integration and healthy living research can provide steps towards building networks and healthy living.
