Since 1831, Wesleyan University has been dedicated to its mission of improving human well-being by means of education throughout the course of life. As means to extend this commitment to ongoing education, the University created the Wesleyan Institute for Lifelong Learning (WILL) in 2009. A non degree-granting program, WILL utilizes the talents of retired and current faculty members to present a set of short-term and intellectually stimulating classes to area residents. These courses are offered at minimal cost and are designed to offer topics of interest to members of the community. The classes are small in size and are scheduled in the afternoons and early evenings. Also, students enrolled at WILL have access to all the academic resources at Wesleyan University, including the Olin Library.
