Summer is a wonderful time to get out and explore new places and enjoy special events. The senior centers in Western Connecticut have so many great trips planned as well as local events this summer. Grab your calendars, you won’t want to miss a minute of the fun!
July 23rd – Outdoor Adventures-Garden of Ideas in Ridgefield
Enjoy the beautiful outdoors with this 12-acre space with woodland, ornamental, vegetable and sculpture gardens. There is a pond with a surrounding boardwalk, a waterfall, and even a chicken coop.
July 26th-27th – 2019 Village Fair
The Village Fair is the largest annual event in New Milford with two full days of live entertainment, bingo, bouncy houses, a food court and almost two hundred vendor and community booths.
August 12th – Dolly Parton and Kenny Rodgers
Dolly Parton and Kenny Rodgers, both legends in the entertainment world come together at the Aqua Turf for a fantastic performance. Enjoy a delicious meal selected from a Family style diverse menu.
August 14th – Rip Van Winkler Flyer and Ulster Railroad
Experience elegant travel and dining aboard Rip Van Winkle Flyer on the Delaware and Ulster Railroad in the Catskills.
August 21st – 2019 Dutchess County Fair
The 2019 Dutchess County Fair has something for everyone! From exhibits and displays to shows and attractions, it will be a fun-filled day!
August 29th – Westchester Broadway Theatre presents “Mambo Italiano”
Enjoy this new, hilarious must-see musical discussing love, loss, family and the want to be understood.
